The Pontec PondoSolar 250 Control is a solar fountain pump kit which can be used in a water feature or pond . This kit comes with a 6 V fountain pump which can produce up to 250 LPH, 5m of connecting cable, 4 different fountain heads, extension tubes and a 3w solar panel with mounting spike.
Unlike many solar kits, the 250 Control includes a rechargeable battery unit which is charged by the solar panel. This fountain operates during the day, the pump is powered by the solar module with any surplus power being used for charging the rechargeable battery. After dusk the pump and LED can be programmed to automatically run for 1, 2, 3 or even 4 hours each night (as long as the battery has been sufficiently charged).

To avoid unnecessary running and to maximise the battery charging, these pumps default to "off" and need to be switched on using the remote control when you would like then to be active.

This pump also has flow rate adjustment which is controlled using the remote control unit

Would have liked a spare remote control as this could easily be lost as it is so small. If it was lost this would render the unit unusable. Having made enquires I am told a replacement remote is not available.

03-Jul-2017	Pontec Pondosolar 250 Control - Solar Fountain Pump	Does exactly what I want it to do. The solar panel will keep the pump running as long as you want in daylight plus up to four hours when light has faded if battrey is charged. Note battery indicator light only illuminates when on button is pressed , it does not stay on.

To date this is a useless product
