The Pontec MultiClear 5000 Filtration Sets from Oase consist of compact 'flow-through' multi stage filters, which includes a UV clarifier and solid handling filter pump. This package also includes hose and all the hose connections required for a fast installation.

The Pontec MultiClear 5000 Filter include 4 different filter materials : Japanese Matting, Course Foam, Fine Foam and Bio-surface elements, for effective debris collection and a high surface area for friendly bacteria. With is outlet near to the top of the filter, the Pontec MultiClear Filters can be substantially buried for discrete integration in to your pond setup.

The Pontec MultiClear Filtration Sets come with a clear water guarantee and creates a healthy climate for pond inhabitants and the included Pontec Filter pump has a 2 year guarantee and 10m of cable on the pump and 3m on the filter.

The MultiClear 5000 Filter will accept Oase 50mm Rigid Pipework on the outlet.

What is Effective Volume ?
The effective volume is the quantity of water in your pond, plus an allowance for shallow and or ponds exposed to high levels of sunlight. Both of these situations will result in a higher than normal algae growth, and fish pollution. We advise that to ensure your that your equipment is correctly sized, the effective volume be considered the minimum size for the equipment you select. However do remember to check the details of the product you are interested in, to ensure that there are no other allowances or consideration specific to that product are required.
