| The Oase BioTec ScreenMatic 2 - 145000 OC - Complete Filtration Systems include the New BioTec ScreenMatic 2 - 145000 Filters which was launched 2023 and the Aquamax Eco Premium OC pumps released in 2024. The new and upgraded Biotec ScreenMatic 2 145000 now features an improved coarse debris system and electronic control system. Simple operation, fast, clean maintenance and outstanding filtration results are the unique features of these filters. A specially designed sieve catches all debris particles above 300 microns that arrive in the filter. The sieve has been designed as a belt which rotates when dirty via a built-in 12v motor and is scraped clean as it turns. The dirt builds up on the screen is monitored by a new sensor system which only operates the 12v motor when needed, thus saving running costs and wear and tear. The waste falls into an increased capacity tray for disposal. The water, which is enriched with oxygen, then falls into the chamber below, flows through the filter zones and then reaches the next filter chamber. The friendly filter bacteria present in the pond water settle and multiply in the oxygen rich sponges. The individual chamber situated just in front of the outlet holds Zeolite filled cartridges which are ideal when starting up the filter. Once established the material inside can be changed to Phosless (not supplied) which will help prevent algae growth in the pond. Each filter is also supplied with a plunger to allow for easy cleaning of the foam cartridges and a brush to aid cleaning of the belt. Once the foams have been squeezed out a valve is pulled, and the dirty water drains from the tank. The drain is at the bottom of the BioTec 145000 ScreenMatic 2 Filter is 75mm. The Oase BioTec 145000 - ScreenMatic 2 Pond Filters are supplied with a 2 year guarantee which can be upgraded to 3 years by registering your purchase with Oase. Housed within a new filter tank, the 2023 Biotec Screenmatic 2 - 145000 features an upgraded foam layout and revised outlet position which together ensure that the foams remain fully sub-merged in water when the system is turned off or when first installed. This changed foam layout substantially increases the gap from initial water height to the top of the vertical divider, which reduces the frequency of cleaning. Both outlets have regulator values and by adjusting these you can control the amount of water which passes over the light. This enables the most efficient use of the light giving the best results. The build up of limescale in an ultra violet is well known for substantially reducing the effectiveness of a unit. This problem had been overcome in the Bitron C in two ways. Firstly the permanent magnets reduce the build up limescale in the whole pond system including pumps. Secondly a continuously spinning cleaning device, which is powered using the water flow, ensures that no build up, even silt, starts on the quartz sleeve. Each model has an integrated indicator light or window allowing you to quickly see if the bulb is working. Supplied with a 2 year guarantee, hose clips and a blanking cap if the two outlets are not required. The Oase Bitron ECO pond ultra violet light is the premium model of Oase's UV range. Designed for large ponds and big flowrates these UVs are very effective in clearing your pond water. A single inlet will take hose up to 50mm (2") in diameter and directs the flow into the newly designed high-volume housing which gives a longer contact time between water and bulb. The quartz sleeve has an automatic cleaning rotor which is continuously turned by the flow of water and prevents debris from building up and blocking the output of UV light. The double outlet can fit directly to Oase's ProfiClear, Biotec 30, Biotec Screenmatic 36 and 140000. The automatic bypass membrane adjusts to the flow through the unit to ensure the optimum flow past the UV light without impact on the overall flow. The membrane will self-adjust to altered flowrates from new pumps or the seasonal flow control. The bulb can be accessed to be changed without having to remove the quartz sleeve making this process quicker, easier and with less chance of problems. New to the ECO Bitron Ultraviolet lights is the introduction of the digital monitor and control system which not only shows the status of your bulb and the water temperature, but also allows the performance function selection to be adjusted. The ECO function selection adjusts the length of time the bulb will illuminate, which potentially reduces the running costs by up to 50% compared to a conventional ultraviolet light. With this next generation UV comes new Ultra-efficient Bulbs which have up to 50% longer life span giving up to 12,000 running hours use. Top Quality Oase AquaMax Eco Premium OC (2024 version) Filter Pumps The Oase AquaMax Eco Premium 5000 - 21000 are the very latest version of Oases' high performance AquaMax Eco range of solid handling pond filter pumps. For the 2024 versions Oase have redesigned the motor for the Aquamax Eco Premiums resulting in a quieter, more energy efficient pumps, saving 14% - 24% of the running costs (depending on the model) which should also help them last longer than their older models (that is saying something). The new motors have what Oase call "Core 6 Technology" which means they have six windings instead of the traditional 4, these windings have also been curved which produces smoother running, adding to their efficiency and also making them quieter. These new Oase AquaMax Eco Premium pumps also feature impellors that have been improved and are now effectively handmade with glass-fibre reinforced plastic making them much stronger and allowing them to take solids of up to 11mm in size. All of the new AquaMax Eco Premium pumps can now be controlled electronically via the Oase Smart Phone App using the DMX technology which is available in their OC ("Oase Control" system, formerly known as EGC) range of products. Individual pumps can be controlled using an Oase Eco Controller (OAE016) or if the pump is part of an installation using other OC products which can be remotely controlled then an adapter can be purchased to link other units (OAE077). All of the AquaMax Eco Premium pumps have the option of using the secondary inlet port to run an optional remote strainer (OAA501) or skimmer (OAA102), both of which can improve the circulation within your pond and reduce the likelihood of 'dead' areas and silt build up. Like their predecessors these pumps still have the seasonal function control (SFC) function which automatically slows the pump down (saving money) in colder water temperatures and they can still be dry installed (SFC does not work in dry installations) and reliable protection against blockages and dry running with EFC (Environmental Function Control) All AquaMax Eco Premium pumps are supplied with 10m of mains cable, inlet and outlet hosetails which will accept 25mm - 38mm flexible hosepipe and a 25, 32 and 38mm plastic hose clip. In addition 9000 - 21000 models Oase also provide a larger outlet hosetail to allow the connection of 50mm (2") flexible pipework for less resistance in high flowrate / longer pipe runs.
