The Varipump 20000 by Evolution Aqua is a controllable pond pump, suitable for large ponds and aimed to go with the EasyPod and Nexus range of filters. Output flowrate and therefore the energy consumption can be controlled at the push of a button using the digital control panel . Available in three sizes, these quiet and reliable pumps are powerful enough to run the largest of ponds and filters, and in the most demanding of situations. The control box allows fine adjustment in increments of 1%, once adjusted the display will continuously show the power consumption in watts. These pumps are suitable for use in and out of the pond and come with a single stepped barbed hosetail which will take 32mm, 38mm and 50mm hose. The Varipump 20000 also has two further smooth hose connectors but this time they are not stepped, these will take 50mm hose. These fittings are not solvent weldable, but can be used with the appropriate boot fittings to allow connection to rigid pipework. The slots in the inlet cage are 5mm and the cage clips off easily for maintenance or to reveal a threaded inlet connection. The Varipumps sit in a removable foot which can be secured to a base should you wish and the pump can then be slid out of the foot for maintenance.

The Evolution Aqua Varipumps are supplied with 2m of cable to the weatherproof control box and then 10m from the control box to the pump, this 10m cable has a cable connector so the pump can be easily disconnected from the control box. Supplied with a 2 year guarantee.

What is Effective Volume ?
The effective volume is the quantity of water in your pond, plus an allowance for shallow and or ponds exposed to high levels of sunlight. Both of these situations will result in a higher than normal algae growth, and fish pollution. We advise that to ensure your that your equipment is correctly sized, the effective volume be considered the minimum size for the equipment you select. However do remember to check the details of the product you are interested in, to ensure that there are no other allowances or consideration specific to that product are required.
