The MasterPlug WiFi Controlled Storm Weatherproof Power Socket is a smart outdoor double socket designed for remotely controlling and scheduling electrical equipment in garden and outdoor environments. Using a 2.4GHz WiFi connection, the unit allows power to be switched via app control, voice assistants or manual touch control, without requiring a separate hub.
This twin 13A outdoor socket is housed within a robust IP66-rated enclosure designed to protect against rain, dust and outdoor conditions. Each socket can be controlled remotely using the BG Home app, with support for scheduling, countdown timers and random security functions. The unit is compatible with Amazon Alexa, Google Home and Siri Shortcuts for integrated smart control.
The weatherproof housing is manufactured from high-impact UV-stable polycarbonate and features a lockable hinged cover with ergonomic paddles for easy operation. Multiple cable entry knockouts provide flexible installation, while LED indicators show socket power status even when the cover is closed. The patented cable entry system helps prevent accidental opening of the cover during use.
