Rigid Pipework and Fittings

For many pond filters the return pipework to the pond will be connected using a connector suitable for rigid pipework.

All of our rigid pipework is black in colour so that it can be easily concealed. Algae is also less likely to form on black pipework which means that any equipment that is connected to the pipes will continue to work efficiently, as the flow of water through the pipe will not be obstructed by any algae on the inside of the pipe.

If rigid pipework is too restrictive, we also stock 76mm flexible pipework which can be fitted over Oase 70mm connectors

A range of Rigid Pipework and Fittings for Ponds

Rigid pipework is available in a range of sizes to suit the needs of your pond filter. If you need to connect your pipework to equipment that you already have in your pond then you will need to make sure the pipes will fit this equipment before you make a purchase.

There are also a variety of fittings that are available for rigid paperwork so that the pipework can go round any corners in your pond as required. Fittings are available at a forty five degree angle so that the pipes can change direction if required. You will also find that you have a great deal of choice in the junctions that attach to the end of your pipes which include elbow and tee junctions.

Evolution Aqua Boot Connectors are available and allow pipes of slightly different sizes to be joined together. These connectors come with jubilee clips already attached so that these clips can be tightened around the pipes to ensure a correct fit. This can help eliminate some of the common problems that occur when using rigid pipes, such as the pipework not lining up correctly.

Slide valves are a common feature that are used with rigid pipework. These valves have a stainless steel blade that can be moved up or down to control the flow of the water through the pipe. This means that you are able to make changes to the flow of water whenever it's required without needing to use any tools.
